Winter to winter...

So lets just pretend I post any photos that aren't all wintery...

I took a trip up to Porcupine Reservoir after the snow last night. The cloud cover makes everything feel a little extra soft and cold in pictures. All in all a beautiful trip though.

Winter... so far

So there hasn't been much snow but I've been enjoying being a little more active with my photography and I've recently tried some new things with friends.

Rain

Its been forever...

Last weekend I decided it was time to take some rain shots. It's amazing how rain is so dynamic and constantly in motion, and at the same time so exceptionally still.

Something New!

It's been quite a while since I posted anything, for which I'm sorry. I have been taking pictures, I just haven't posted any since last Christmas apparently. As is, here is some new stuff!

I've gotten to like taking pictures of lighting! I have yet to storm chase or really plan a shot but when its good and stormy I usually at night I usually try and get out to take a few shots.

I also went out one night only to have the storm disappear. It was a little sad but I decided to see what I could pick up in the leftover broodiness. These shots make me think of the Lion king every time I see them.

I also decided today to take a trip up the canyon and capture the fall colors. It was a gorgeous day and a lot of fun to wander in the cold morning air of autumn.
